Joan Rivers had a very funny joke.  She said that once she got married, he whole body responded by saying, “Thank God.”  And everything began sagging and all other signs of age started to march across her body.

Post procedure, we can't let our bodies rest too long.

Some of us are very lucky.  Despite the fact we have Multiple Sclerosis raging in out bodies, hope exists. Through spirit and prayers, we have found CCSVI.  Research leads us to wonderful doctors and facilities that perform the procedure.  The procedure is not simple, but it is a well-tested surgery.

During surgery, I was awake.  I felt things.  I experienced feelings for the first time in years.  And it felt great.

CCSVI has different layers of improvement.  Some will feel very little improvement and others medium and major improvement for the last group.

After the procedure, we need to keep fighting.  The procedure is not the end; rather it is a new beginning.  We did nothing to get MS.  We just have to make the best of our lives.  CCSVI gives us a new hope.

And now, after the procedure rest.  Rest and drink fluids.  Take your time.  Do not jump and try to run a mile, but get used to your body again.  Nerves are talking that have not spoken for some time.  You might feel sore.  Rest will help this problem.

Physical therapy can be wonderful. It helps you move muscles and get stecheted.

Post CCSVI I felt bulletproof/ I was so regenerated and I admit that I overdid everything.  And while my condition was greatly improved, I was not cured.

I hit a bad combination of realities.  Over exertion.  Too much after surgery.  Stomach flu going around.  Children who are bringing germs to and from school.

I got the stomach flu and it floored me.  Despite all bravado and new energy, I was really sick.

The moral of the story was to me:  CCSVI can improve you greatly, but it does not cure.  But it is worth everything.

I would have done the procedure ever if I got no improvements.  I would have been far worse to have done nothing.

Thank you doctors for doing this procedure.  Thank you patients for spreading the word.
