Hi Folks,

We're getting closer to our May 5th CCSVI Rally for Rights (1pm to 3pm - meet at the Eternal Flame early so we can begin right at 1pm!) Leading up to the Rally, we are hosting a meet & greet at the Jack Purcell Community Centre on Sunday, May 1st from 1pm to 3pm. Join us for a coffee and pre-Rally info!

HELP! We need videographers!! Is there anyone out there with a video camera who wouldn't mind helping capture the event? We've put a request into the Algonquin College media programs, but haven't heard anything solid. Please contact me if you might be able to help us! rally@rallyonthehill.ca

In the meantime, we are still looking to add your advocacy stories to the pages at www.rallyonthehill.ca Pass the along!!

Cheers,

Wendy

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS) AND CHRONIC CEREBROSPINAL VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY (CCSVI)

Christopher Alkenbrack, Yvonne Anderson, Janine Caudle, Francine Deshaies, Steve Garvie, Chrystal Gomes, Linda Hume-Sastre, Amy Preston, Sandra Young-Robinson

The authors of this paper are MS sufferers or have immediate family members who are MS sufferers.  Some of us or our family members have been treated for CCSVI outside Canada at considerable cost and some of us or our family members have been tested, know we have CCSVI and are on waiting lists for treatment – outside Canada.  Steve Garvie is the only one of the authors who was treated in a Canadian hospital.  The authors of this paper, and the MS sufferers we know, would be willing to pay for testing and treatment in Canada.  We are not asking for a government hand-out and we want to make that clear.  What we are asking for is the right to be tested and treated for CCSVI in Canada.
