This is an excellent editorial from Dr. Simka, the President of the ISNVD. I'm so happy to see an entire association dedicated to finding out the real issues behind the disease called MS and recognizing that CCSVI is the major factor so over looked for so many years!  http://docstore.ingenta.com/cgi-bin/ds_deliver/1/u/d/ISIS/68222123.1/ben/rrct/2012/00000007/00000002/art00001/B456B3F8818C30461334091000169A32CB419C28E1.pdf?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ingentaconnect.com%2Ferror%2Fdelivery&format=pdf

.

More documentation about the 2 retrospective studies that show treating CCSVI with angioplasty does help reduce MS symptoms. http://www.medpagetoday.com/clinical-context/MultipleSclerosis/31868

this is a great study but I think something like this needs to be under investigation for a much longer period of time...I had symptoms for 10 yrs without anything appearing on MRI's and the symptoms that first 10 yrs did not interfere so much with my daily living that anyone could tell..but this does show that CCSVI is real! http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0033671

Dr. Siskin’s team in Albany found that, in general, patients who had been diagnosed within the last 10 years responded better than patients.  For more details see:  http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/760923?src=emailthis%3Fsrc%3Dstfb and http://www.sacbee.com/2012/03/25/4364872/interventional-radiologists-see.html#storylink=cpy.
