This site is full of possibilities for progressive ms: drugs that are commonly used to treat high cholesterol, hypertension and that may in fact be anti-inflammatory and slow progression down; stem cells may in fact restore function in some MS'ers; drugs like ibudilast and fingolimod may improve the quality of our lives; and new and existing agents are being tested for the ability to promote lesion repair. CCSVI may improve the quality of our lives



For the first time sine my diagnosis, I am daring to hope that I won't become, like Annette Funicheli, a quadrapalegics, with no ability to talk or swallow.



For the first time, I have quit worrying about my kids carry the ms gene



For the first time, I can think about the future with guarded optimism.



I know we all feel differently about what may come to fruitition. Some of us are angainst drugs of any sort, some think natural remedies are bogus many will not touch anything that has not been scientifically validated,



Whatever you believe, I encourage you to support, and encourage your friends and family to support, research.



Hope is the best pill I've taken so far, and I encourage you to guardedly try it!



20 years ago, there was absolutely nothing for any kind of ms. Now there are 10 treatments. 10! Let's do what we can to get at least 1 for progressive ms.
