In 1863, Rindfleisch first documented the engourged vein he could see inside an MS lesion, using his microscope. He commented that MS appeared to be a vascular disorder. In 2015, researchers note the same thing, now using 7T MRI. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25903703 Thanks to Sandro for finding another paper to add to the pile on the vascular evidence of MS. Here's a note I wrote up in 2013, summarizing the research on MS and the Central Vein Sign. This is no mystery. The only mystery is why neuroimmunologists continue to deny the evidence. https://www.facebook.com/notes/ccsvi-in-multiple-sclerosis/the-central-vein-sign-and-new-research/10151697341962211
