MS numbers in the UK, by ms-ccsvi-uk

Do it yourself ‘research’.
Obtaining more accurate figures for the number of people living with Multiple Sclerosis in the UK.
Being seriously involved in understanding the research into the condition called Multiple Sclerosis (MS), we have wondered for some time how many people there are with an MS diagnosis in the UK.
We could not understand why there were no definitive figures published:

• Is this a condition (dreadful as it is) that affects such a small minority of people in the UK that it is not worth seriously and open mindedly looking into?
• Is this a condition that is best left unsolved because solving it would reduce the ‘market’ for expensive drugs?
• Is it because people with MS disappear from view when the symptoms start seriously affecting people’s ability to cope with social life?
• Is it, as we have been told recently by Dr Bill Code¹ , that the numbers should be kept low to enable very expensive new drugs to be afforded by the health services? ………..
