Calcitriol Directly Sensitizes Renal Tubular Cells to ATP-Depletion- and Iron-Mediated Attack, American Journal of Pathology, 1999

Morley Robbins comment on this article:
"...This article is likely to "D"istress even the most ardent fan of Hormone-D...

o Calcium rushing INTO the cell is NOT good! This implies Maggie rushing OUT!... (That is called a CLASSIC "Stress!" response!...)
o Loss of ATP is NEVER a good development for the cell!... The state of Dis-ease ALWAYS follows the LOSS of energy... And what is tied to a loss of energy?... Mg drops OFF the ATP molecule when the pH of the cell drops below 6.2! Hmmmmmmm...
o Having unbound Iron cavorting in the cell is NEVER a good idea due to its profound ability to GENERATE free radicals, aka, Reduced Oxygen Species (ROS) -- these are the VERY ORIGIN OF THE AGING PROCESS...
And how does Iron BECOME "unbound?"... Increased levels of Hormone-D KILL the Retinol, animal-based Vit-A, in the Liver, which is a CRITICAL precursor to making Ceruloplasmin (Cp), which is an ESSENTIAL protein needed to prevent Iron (& Copper...) from becoming Oxidizing fiends in the cell... Cp is, in fact, an anti-oxidant!
What is NOTABLY absent from this study is ANY mention of either Magnesium or Copper... And in case you didn't know this, it is physiologically IMPOSSIBLE to talk about Calcium, without assessing Maggie, and the same can be said for Iron and Copper... This gap in the breadth of this study is just further proof of the century-long censorship of the minerals that RUN THE BODY...
For those that take the time to actually read this study, it should send a *chill* down your spine... I checked in with my mentor, Rick Malter, PhD, to make sure I was "reading this correctly..." He, too, was quite stunned by the scope of this study and its implications... " https://www.facebook.com/groups/MagnesiumAdvocacy/permalink/850608291673908/
