Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) & How to fix it

Fatigue happens inside the cell and the responsible ‘headquarter’ for adequate energy production is the Mitochondria, the body’s ‘power plant”.

When we are chronically fatigued our Mitochondria is not too lazy to do its jobs, it’s just not able to perform necessary enzyme reaction to create a special energy molecule called Mg-ATP because of mineral deficiency!

This energy production is a five-step process and one step requires a key enzyme (Cytochrome C Oxidize), which is needed to transfer all the electrons to oxygen, to create the energy molecule called Mg-ATP and this key enzyme requires Copper to work properly.

When Copper is not present, you get tired and when Magnesium is not present, you can’t activate the ATP. BUT this special Mg-ATP energy MUST have been created otherwise this energy is NOT recognizable & used by the body!

WHAT TO DO NOW? GET TESTED! and find out whether your Mitochondria got the stuff it takes to produce recognizable energy your body so desperately needs and STOP this criminal Neuroland Gue$$ing Game!.

The test is called “Mag-Zinc-Copper Panel” and in the USA you even can order it online without a referral of a med. professional! http://requestatest.com/mag-zinc-copper-panel-testing and if you can effort it, try to get a proper HTMA(hair mineral analysis) done (http://www.arltma.comor at http://www.traceelements.com/Default.aspx) as well to find out even more how to improve/support your health !

But first things first, after you got your blood test results back you can easily calculate/interpret the test.

Reference values are:

Serum Copper: 100-130 mcg/dL opt. 110
Plasma Zinc: 80-100 mcg/dL opt. 100
Serum Ceruloplasmin: 25-40mg/dL
opt. 33
Mag RBC (body tissue, NO! serum): 5.0-7.0 mg/dL
opt. 6.5

Calculating ratios/percentages:

-Zinc/Copper ratio should be: 1.3 to 1.2

- Free Copper (not bound to Cp) should be between 5-15%, optimal is 10%

From your lab results now you can easily calculate you free (toxic/bio-unavailable Copper with this simple formula:
Free Cu% = sCu – (3x sCp) and then divided by the original total serum Copper. Done- That’s the result you need!

(Sample for optimal values: Free Cu = 110- (3x33) = 110 : 11 = 10%)

If your free/unbound Copper level should be above %15 (toxic level) you have to bring up your Ceruloplasmin values and to re-balance your mineral levels at the same time.

How to get there?

Steps to Increase Ceruloplasmin (Cp) from the spreadsheet, by Morley Robbins

o STOP Hormone-D ONLY Supplements
o STOP Calcium & Iron Supplements!
o STOP Ascorbic Acid
o STOP HFCS & Synthetic Sugars
o STOP LOW Fat Diet
o STOP Using Industrialized, "Heart Healthy" Oils!

o START Cod Liver Oil(1 Tbsp of Nordic Naturals - Artic)
o START Whole food Vit-C (500-800 mgs/day)
o START Boron -- 1-3mgs/day (aids in Synthesis of Cp)
o START Iodine when Mg & Se RBC are optimal
o START B2(Riboflavin) -- Key for Cu/Fe regulation in Liver
o START Ancestral Diet (HIGH Fat/Protein/LOW Carb)

...and of course, you need adequate amounts of the right Magnesium compounds (e.g. Mg-Chloride,-Glycinate, -Malate) plus adrenal support given by Potassium supplements is needed as well!

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
