I am writing this letter out of the disgust at the medical community. Their lack of urgency and ambivalence towards the CCSVI procedure to relieve MS symptoms speaks volumes of their purpose. Actions do speak louder than words.( or lack of)

All of the evidence about blood flow blockage and the brain is black and white. When veins are opened, by whatever means, the symptoms are relieved. Angioplasty, stints, or open vein surgery, relieves the brain from blockage. When people who have had the procedure have had relief and the block vein’s return the symptoms return, this verifies there is a “cause and effect” and a correlation. HELLO!!!

Where is Dr. Zamboni in all of this? His discovery was one of compassion and love, not of profit. With the urgency of wanted and needed treatment, why isn’t the MS Society dealing directly with him to get his resolution implemented asap. Where is the urgency? Are they waiting for more donations? or, are they just bidding time while the donors or drug companies keeping making money?

Are the pharmaceutical companies willing to disclose who they bribe or “wine and dine”? This paradigm of paying for business is what the Soviets used to do. The capitalist medical system looks at stock price not medical success results. Where are the cures instead of treatments? Does anybody see the a problem with the oversight?

I’m not advocating a medical system like Canada, but just like they do, why doesn’t or why can’t the U.S. industry properly defend itself with a results based discussion. Not a profit analysis.

Why do we accept the recycling of drugs (4ap to Ampyra, and Naltrexone) but not use a simple out-patient procedure to resolve issues that the drug companies spend billions of dollars to treat, not fix, and only cause more problems and deaths. Where is the common sense? Are profits and protection of those profits accepted as true capitalism? Rush Limbaugh is the truth detector. Why isn't this on his radar?

LDN is another example where the government protects profits, and even contribute to protecting them against the benefit of people they supposedly have their best interest in.. Is the government not interested or not listening? Are they more interested in taking vacations?

Is it true that Copaxone is just as (in)effective given every other day as every day? Didn't they chose not to publish the study that showed this to br true. By injecting once a day they double thier revenue. I will not order Copaxone again. It has done nothing except given me welts at the injection site each day. And, at the cost, it's not worth it.

Why does the FDA tolerate the number of deaths during clinical trials of these "disease modifying" drugs, but one that was not even related to the CCSVI procedure gets so much PR? Hello government! Wouldn't it benefit the US if more people worked and paid taxes into the system, than collecting unemployment from other tax payers? It seems the government has their head in the sand ignoring this.

Why are the insurance companies accepting this? Would they rather pay 30K+ a year for somethings that don't work, rather than paying 10K one time for something that has merit and has demonstrated success. Why does this CCSVI have to be proven to be successful when the drug companies just have to prove he drugs don't cause any more harm than the disease itself? Has anybody heard of Tysabri? And this is acceptable to the Dr.'s? Not to mention the FDA.

I'm not saying CCSVI is the cure, but the arrogance and stupidity of the people who are suppose to have our best interest, is deafening.

I will not order another Copaxone 3 month shipment until the CCSVI is proven or un-proven. If the way to get to these drug companies is through profits, then the have lost my business.
