Wascana MP Ralph Goodale met with Reginans on Wednesday who have had a controversial Multiple Sclerosis liberation treatment and those who are considering it. It is believed the treatment for Chronic Cerebro-spinal Venous Insufficiency, or CCSVI, relieves symptoms of MS including brain fog and fatigue. Circulation and motor skills can also
be increased. Almost 50 countries around the world offer the treatment, but it is not available in Canada, something Saskatchewan is trying to change. “From a Saskatchewan point of view, where we have the highest incidents of MS in the country, it’s obviously important for the province to play a leadership role, and they have,”
Goodale said. Mark Docherty had the treatment in Bulgaria. He said it is well worth the cost and travel. “Every single person that we’ve known that's gone has improved to some degree,” Docherty said. “Every single person that's been tested that
I’ve known has had narrowed veins or twisted veins and no one has shown
any regret, not one person.”
