ABC KOMO News 4 Seattle (San Diego and Portland, see below)

Websites where you can get links and watch stories/interviews once they air:
ABC 10 News San Diego http://www.10news.com/index.html
KOMO 4 News Seattle http://www.Komonews.com/

Toronto, Ontario find this on Bell Sattelite KOMO channel 1211 in HD at 2 am.

Watch Tarah Virgil and I discuss our experiences pursuing a very promising, yet highly controversial, new treatment for MS with KOMO News 4 newscaster Kathi Goertzen on November 4th at 11:00 pm. (Just after Grey's Anatomy.)

We will be joined by our friends from the local MS community, as well as doctors with varying opinions about this new approach to monitoring and treating MS. Neurologist David Hubbard, the doctor administerin...g the San Diego-based study that we are participating in, will also be offering his thoughts. I believe this will be the first time he is contributing to a news broadcast on this study.

These are exciting times for people with MS and their loved ones. I believe that we are facing what could very well be the cure... or at least a major piece of the puzzle contributing to the cure. So far, nothing else has ever come along like this for MS. I'd be honored if you'd watch us that night and help make MS history (in both senses of the word). The special may very well expand to become a documentary, if the response is strong enough. If and when that happens, more and more doctors will be compelled to take this approach seriously. That could help to eventually save the lives of many people that are also suffering with this disease.

The special might also air the following day at 6pm, but that time has not yet been confirmed. Also, extended interviews and more information will be available on KOMO's Web site after the special airs. San Diego's ABC affiliate is airing their version of the special on October 29th. KATU in Portland, Oregon will likely air their version sometime after Seattle. (I will make updates to this invitation as soon as more information becomes available.)

Thank you and please feel free to contact me with any questions. I will do my best to respond as soon as possible. Please also feel free to pass this invitation on to as many people as you would like. It is open to anyone and everyone that is interested.

All good things,
Danielle
