I needed to share this with all of you. My friend applied for a license to do a raffle to help fundraise for my treatment. BC Gaming actually REJECTED her application stating that because this treatment is not approved here, it is not eligible for a fundraising license! Apparently, the man she spoke to has had many applications to help MS patients and all have been rejected. I am so angry! I have contacted Global news, am waiting for a call back (the person I spoke to in the news room said this is a "great story") and I am hoping to expose this corruption. I can't believe how far reaching the drug company money and power goes. It makes me feel sick.
