Here's a news story with heart surgeon Dr. Sandy MacDonald. Dr. MacDonald made a couple very
interesting points. He said it is apparent that the treatment works for

some people. Even one person's neurologist reported that his/her patient

improved after receiving the treatment. He posed the question: Does it

work for everyone, to which he said "we don't know."

The reporter asked Dr. MacDonald why the treatment isn't availble here. Basically,
what's all the controversy about? Dr. MacDonald replied that we need to

find out if fixing the vein improves MS. The suggestion was that we

don't know that yet.

Dr. MacDonald also said that Dr. Zamboni's theory is a completely different way of looking at MS. It requires a
shift in our thought process. In order to find out if it works, we need

to get the evidence. Controlled, double-blinded studies are necessary to

allow us to look at MS in a potentially new way.
