I rode my exercise bike for 20 solid minutes this afternoon! This is
huge for me, pre-angio I would need Dan’s help to get started (and I
would go for 1 maybe 2 minutes), and to do it by myself is awesome. The
best part is, afterwards I didn’t have noodly legs – the nerves were
fine!! Another plus is, I didn’t over heat I will do another 10-15 before bed…working on the time slowly..Yesterday, Monday, I went to my work and they gave me a portion of the funds that were raised for me -$5,000, so with the 3,000 raised at another function it really helps with my treatment cost. Come January,
they will give me the balance (better for tax reasons, for me).. So
yay!! with some good friends & family our costs are reduced dramatically. It was great seeing everyone though, one of the ladies I work with, Leigh remarked on how fast I was speaking (I swear I didn’t realize it) and how much better I looked…..actually this was the general consensus
of everyone! I missed seeing Eva and Elena though…although it was
fantastic to see Rose, Wendy and let me test my memory - Cory, Sumer,
Gina, Vonda, Mallory, Michael, Steve S., Alan, Aman, Cathy & Mike
H.- and Marcelo who came to say goodbye before I left!! How I am feeling - well providing I stay mellow I do really good. If
I let my nerves get the best of me, thats a real game changer. I don’t
know why, but I think I feel I should be doing better and I don’t want
to disappoint anyone.
