Yesterday a gal in this blog room, Lynne, responded to a forum post I put up on the 17th of this month. The post was a
request to vote for a Globe and Mail headline that you would like to see

someday in the paper. I am guessing here, but I think she must have had friends

or relatives go vote too because within an hour there were 19 more votes.

Items that get a lot of votes become issues that, if not altogether insane (some of the headlines have been) the Globe spends more time
and effort looking into and reporting on.

This is a perfect, cost free means of getting our issues moved up the

priority list. But we need to do a lot better than the 21 votes that are

presently there.

The headline reads: Liberation Treatment Approved!

The picture on the left is of a dragon with a sword aimed at it’s neck – MSDragonSlayer

If you want to help get the media’s interest, please go vote.

The URL is: http://www.ourtimetolead.ca/

From there, click on the View Gallery in the lower right hand corner.

Double Click on the headline which will enlarge it and open up the place to vote “Like”.

We have to let them know this is an issue and an issue that needs their attention. It is easy to get caught up in our own personal fight with MS or our doctors and assume lots of people know we have a problem. Fact is, Lots of people do not have a clue what MS is (starting with some doctors!) or what our fight is all about. I will wager you there are more taxpayers out there who blindly pay taxes and have no idea how much of it the MS Society and the Medicare System has misused - must have, I have found very few who have gotten any real help from them.

Got an idea of your own? Well don't just sit there! There is also a spot where you can go and create your own headline - one that you would LIKE to see. If it is MS or CCSVI related, come back and tell us so we can go vote for it also.
