If you have an allergic reaction to the red dye used, what do they do about it? I had an allergic reaction to red dye used for a spinal tap that I had 21 years ago. They had to stop the procedure and reschedule me. I had to take an anti- allergy pill before having the spinal tap done again. I'm going to the Pacific Interventeralist on Jan. 5 and wonder if I'll be allergic to the red dye used for the MRV .
