First, I respect and like my Neurologist.

Second, I love my wife more than anything else in life.

Third, the nurse was very professional.

i am the patient with Multiple Sclerosis.  I was going down when I last saw my Neuro.

The three nonpatients all strongly disagreed with my CCSVI decision.  My wife does not see great improvement.  The Neuro and nurse have not to this point met anyone who has had CCSVI.  And the Doctor thinks the negative panel last year was the end of all conversations in the matter.  I did not hear the words "junk medicine" or "quack," but I was looking for a dump truck and a duck.

The doctor did note I was improved.  Impressed with bladder mprovement.  Last time my walk was almost ten seconds.  Today it was short of 8 seconds.  That is a 20% improvement.  IGNORED.

My gait was not great, but I am clearly more alert.  Fingers improved.  Wiggling toes.

No one in the room was impressed.

The doctor proceeded to move me to the new oral medicine (good) after overcoming my fear of the brain PML.

I will be her first patient on this medication.

CCSVI was the 800 pound gorilla in the room being ignored.

I dropped it after being moved by the room to change the subject.

ARRGGHH!!!

No converts, but I made the pitch.

All I can do is improve and show them what innovation can do.
