MEL PATTERSON
Why do we rescue irresponsible snowmobilers and skiers who venture beyond the out of bounds limits into dangerous avalanche territory with full helicopter and search rescue teams, transport them to hospital and nurse them back to health at no cost to the individual, but we refuse to treat a blood clot for an MS patient who has gone offshore for the CCSVI treatment, not offered in Canada, forcing him or her to go back to the offshore location where they had the treatment done in the first place, with possible dire results, as in the case of the individual who returned to Costa Rica for clot buster chemicals which, unfortunately, killed him?
