Bill Peart Died This Morning I'm sure you have heard about this by now.  This is a completely preventable travesty!!  His wife pleaded with you to allow treatment of his CCSVI on compassionate grounds to save his life!  If you are so concerned with the... simple angioplasty's safety to correct the venous condition of CCSVI, then ask yourself, how safe is NOT treating it?  My biological father is from Sydney, Nova Scotia, who died from MS on May 6, 2004, and I watched him die!  It was the most horrific experience of my life to date.  I have MS, and I had CCSVI until June 8, 2010, when I underwent the treatment in New York, and I am completely symptom free because of it, and I am continuing to receive improvements I never knew were affected, because the issues associated with MS happen so gradually, sometimes over our entire lives.    The people who have MS are the experts on this, of which the MS Society is NOT; we want/need them to stay out of this, because they do not speak for us!  How many people do you need as proof this is an effective treatment?  There are now over 13,000 people worldwide who have had this procedure, and would gladly tell you the story about their experiences.  Learn from US, not from the high-salaried Powers That Be from the MS Society, who have never had to live with MS.  Nobody in a salaried position has MS; they are relegated to volunteer (unpaid) positions on the front lines.   We implore you to not let anyone else die because of YOUR decision to not allow this treatment.  I hope this e-mail doesn't fall on deaf ears.   Diana Gordon             Please let me know if you think I'm forgetting to mention something before I send this off.
