One of the invited researchers who will be presenting for the first time at the 4th Annual ISNVD conference is Dr. Yulin Ge from NYU Department of Radiology.  Dr. Ge has been looking at the vascular connection to MS for many years, as a specialist in high field MRI.  Here are a few of his many publications:

Indirect evidence for early widespread gray matter involvement in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.  Inglese M, Ge Y, Filippi M, Falini A, Grossman RI, Gonen O.                                         Neuroimage. 2004 Apr;21(4):1825-9.

Microvascular abnormality in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis: perfusion MR imaging findings in normal-appearing white matter.  Law M, Saindane AM, Ge Y, Babb JS, Johnson G, Mannon LJ, Herbert J, Grossman RI. Radiology. 2004 Jun;231(3):645-52.

Seven-Tesla magnetic resonance imaging: new vision of microvascular abnormalities in multiple sclerosis.  Ge Y, Zohrabian VM, Grossman RI.

Arch Neurol. 2008 Jun;65(6):812-6. doi: 10.1001/archneur.65.6.812.

Diminished visibility of cerebral venous vasculature in multiple sclerosis by susceptibility-weighted imaging at 3.0 Tesla.  Ge Y, Zohrabian VM, Osa EO, Xu J, Jaggi H, Herbert J, Haacke EM, Grossman RI.  J Magn Reson Imaging. 2009 May;29(5):1190-4. doi: 10.1002/jmri.21758.

Dr. Yulin Ge will be making two presentations at the ISNVD conference:

Nitric Oxide and a Vascular Hypothesis of Multiple Sclerosis

Hemodynamic Impairment in MS:  Imaging Techniques and Perspectives

The ISNVD is bringing together researchers from around the globe, to share their knowledge with other disciplines.   This group is not supported by industry--they need our support.

Please consider making a donation.  Every dollar will be doubled and given to the ISNVD.
