via CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis - The first of the Italian COSMO doppler studies, headed by Dr. Comi (who removed Dr. Zamboni and his protocol) are being published. They find a correlation to CCSVI and MS, but claim it is not specific. And the press will pick this up today. https://www.facebook.com/notes/ccsvi-in-multiple-sclerosis/in-the-press-the-cosmo-ccsvi-study-and-attacks-on-dr-zamboni-/10150366960927211

CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis Carly Weeks wrote the most egregious, error filled report on this study. Obviously, the intent is to keep pwMS on the advertisers' drugs. She has quotes from Dr. David Hafler. Hafler has received consulting fees from Eisai, Inc, McKinsey and Company, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Sanofi-aventis; and serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Biogen Idec. The fight continues. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/health-and-fitness/health/new-study-challenges-controversial-multiple-sclerosis-treatment/article4490423/?cmpid=rss1

CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis Here are the 50 sites in Italy participating in the COSMO study headed up by Comi. Get ready for a slew of negative papers out of Italia. http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01384825

CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis Here is the first paper from the Centonze/Marziali team at the University of Rome. Although they find reduced cerebral blood flow in those with MS/CCSVI, they state, in the negative, that there is no correlation (??) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21786298
